Who should we nominate as our NELI Preschool Lead? What is their role?

The NELI Preschool Lead will be the main account holder for your setting. They will serve as the primary point of contact and are typically responsible for overseeing, supporting, and monitoring the delivery of NELI Preschool. Their key responsibilities include:

• Nominating the staff who will access the online training (and completing the training themselves if they choose)
• Monitoring LanguageScreen assessments and reports

Any staff member can be the NELI Preschool Lead, typically this role is taken on by the Nursery Manager, Early Years Lead, Inclusion Lead, SENDCo, or Assistant/Deputy Head.
