Is NELI Preschool suitable for children with EAL?

 The NELI Preschool programme is most beneficial for children who are new to learning English, supporting them to develop new vocabulary and strengthen their narrative skills. Helping children feel settled and fostering a sense of belonging is essential. Building positive links with their parents and carers, as well as learning a few words in a child’s home language, will help them to grow in confidence. When introducing new vocabulary, speak slowly and clearly, and use gestures and visual aids to make learning accessible and supportive. This allows children to learn at their own pace.
