I have little to no children with language concerns (in amber/red). Who do I select?

This is great news! If practical, we still recommend selecting the six children with the lowest language scores for targeted intervention.

These children will all benefit from language enrichment and intervention, even where there are no concerns. As you will learn more about in the online training, there are opportunities to use ‘Step Up’ words that are slightly more complex. This is a great opportunity to stretch their language development even further and put them in excellent standing for Reception.
