# How do I create an account?

Before creating a new account, please check if your school already has an existing account. If so, please ask the account holder to invite you to access your school's account. We encourage schools to only have one account, which may have multiple users. This ensures all pupil data is held in a single account for the school to manage which improves data handling requirements adhering with GDPR.
