# How can NELI be best used to meet different children’s needs?

The individual sessions are a critical opportunity to tailor the sessions to the level of the child, in order to support, consolidate or extend target vocabulary and to work together with the child to develop their narrative skills. There are lesson ideas for different levels of language ability on the NELI Support Hub which is part of the online training and support package. These sessions should be an opportunity to really develop the children’s language ability, whatever their current level, and are an important part of the NELI intervention.
