# Can schools use their catch-up premium to pay for staff time to deliver NELI?

Schools may choose to use their catch-up premium to cover the costs of staff time for the completing the language assessments, taking part in NELI training or delivering the NELI intervention to children. Or they may choose to recruit an Academic Mentor, with a subsidised salary through the National Tutoring Programme, to deliver the NELI programme.
